A Client-Centred Approach

Health coaching is a partnership between coaches and clients that guides clients toward the changes that they want to make. In health coaching, it’s all about clients taking the lead.

One crucial ‘rule of thumb’ Functional Medicine Health Coaches abide by, is to not lay their own goals on the client. Health coaching is not a one-size-fits-all view of health. The goals set are purely that of the client’s. These goals are directly related to their health and wellness.

A Coach’s role and capability is to facilitate, guide and hold their clients accountable for their action steps toward the desired goal(s).

Health coaches have a deep understanding of motivational techniques to keep their clients on track and driven to achieve their goals.
